The Daisy Coaching Hub Blog

It’s Monday, so I thought I should be creating some kind of content and getting it out there but my intuition said, “ No, Just do some listening”.

So I listened to the last three recordings for The Pebble In My Shoe podcast that are waiting to be edited. I listen back in full to the entire unedited track and make mental notes of how I will edit. I felt an emotional wave rising in me after the listening. I sat to journal on it. I find that really helps to bring it to the surface while it moves and emerges to be acknowledged and released.

This is my fourth week in business, and everyday there’s something new to learn and integrate. In some ways I am so clear about my mission, and in other ways, I hands up don’t really know what I’m doing! I’ve been in business before, free lance and self employed, but it feels different now. Social media plays such a vital role in everything and can feel very intimidating overwhelming.

So, back to my journaling – I use a blend of approaches to my journaling practice. I like to create a space using some ritual, light a candle, ground my energy and connect with my higher self and guides. I outline what’s going on for me at this time and then pose a question. It then becomes a sort of meditative channelling process. I just put my pen to the page and allow each word to form, one by one, the words emerge on the page until a sentence appears, then another and so on, until two, three or more pages have filled. Reading back over it is like the big reveal. It’s fascinating what appears, because it’s not come from me but through me, and always seems to makes sense.

This morning’s guidance was both affirming and humbling and the over all message was, ‘just be who you are, keep being you, show up with your truth and those who resonate with it will hear it’. So here I am, navigating this new territory that is both exciting and scary.

The conversations on The Pebble in My Shoe podcast remind me that my fascination with the process of personal growth; the curiosity I have to examine the pivotal moments we experience that  invite us to stop, and listen, and honour our personal truth; the changes we make and actions we take to align more with who we truly are and what we are here to do, is in fact what drives me and where I am in my element.

The ‘pebble in my own shoe’ that led me to step into Daisy Coaching is still a work in progress. I identified the ‘pebble’; I honoured what it was telling me – to step into my passion for supporting people on their journey of personal growth; I took courageous action to leave the perceived security and safety of the public service job; and now I am living into the challenge of aligning with my authenticity in how I show up and what I ‘bring to the party’. And it feels like coming out of the ‘spiritual closet’. It probably won’t surprise that many people, but it still requires a level of trust to just speak my truth.

In  the aftermath of the Solstice and reflecting on the first half on 2024, it feels right now to be stepping with courage (which is really feeling fearful but doing it anyway) into manifesting the rest of this year with more purpose and authenticity than ever before.

Thank you for being with me on the journey.

Warm wishes

Miffy
